Honda of Mckinney Complaint - Repair is not done as promised

MCKINNEY, TEXAS -- I purchased my second Honda from this dealership lured by this Ad.

Before I signed my contract, I found ding on the door. Dealership promised to repair it. Later I found rust on car and bubble on tint. Of course, the salesperson promised to take care of the problems. When I brought the car back to the dealership, I had to sense that attitude toward me had been changed. For a week and half, my new car was with them for repair and nobody called. I had to call them frequently to find out what's going on. The salesperson claimed my cell number didn't work. The number worked pretty well before I signed the contract.

When it is finally done, the ding was fixed. Rust was not taken care of. There were still bubbles

The salesperson claimed the tint was re-done, but it did not appear that way. There were still bubble on tint. I will have to see if the bubble disappears.

The salesperson claimed the rust was taken care of. He could not say what he did. a service adviser who took care of my car had no knowledge of the problem. The rust was from cracked paint.

The salesperson promised to have the car washed and detailed. However, I found dust from buffing was inside the car, dirts on floor mats, even hair inside the car. Furthermore, interior was scratched.

The salesperson promised to fill up the gas as compensation. Of course gas was not filled up as promised.

I picked up this car and brought it home without further argument because I didn't want to deal with them more unless I have to.

From the experience, I became very suspicious of this salesperson and this dealership, Honda of Mckinney and very disappointed with the quality of their service, especially salesperson.

I would not recommend this dealership to purchase new Honda. There would be better ones in Dallas.

I would not sign any contract with anyone until they fixed what they said they were going to fix, then it is a done deal. Sorry you had to go through this and I know hind site is a wonderful thing but I hope you came out OK anyway.

I dunno, but whenever I purchase a new car, I go over it with a fine tooth comb BEFORE I sign any contract. Car dealers are the lowest of low. Once they got your money, they become hard-of-hearing.
