DALLAS, TEXAS -- I used Gexa as my electricity service provider for over a year and suddenly they started claiming that my payments were late and charging me late fees. All of my payments were mailed 10 days prior to the due date (via an online bill payment service). I called their customer service line and explained that the payments had been sent 10 days prior to the due date via an online bill payment service and they still refused to refund the late fees, blaming the US Postal Service but still charging me the late fees. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM, THEY ARE CROOKS. I have switched to another electric service provider and sued them in small claims court.

Something does not make sense here. You are using online bill payment... so the US Post Office is not in the equation... Perhaps the problem is with your online bill payment company.

Who is your online bill payment service? Most likely that is where your problem is. If you have online banking can you pay the bill through thier website? Many banks can do that now.

I sure hope your online bill payment company isn't Bi-weekly Management, they are a terrible company, if it's them, cancel immediately!

I work for gexa. Been working for them for over 2 years which makes me a long term employee of the company.
The company, subsidiary of Florida Power and Light, is drama central.
It treats it's employees like disposable dipers. It throws them away when they're done using them. Hence nobody has any loyalty to the company. They have many lawsuites and many more coming including sarbox violations.
Good customer service comes from treating it's employee fairly. If it can't do that how in the world do you think it's employees will treat their customers properly? What fairly tail do you live in?
