Balch Springs Postal Service Complaint - Incompetence - incompetence by Post Office

Review by Blueirish on 2007-01-23
BALCH SPRINGS, TEXAS -- I have lost packages through this post office before and they denied ever delivering. This time they said they made an attempt on January 19th 2007 at 8:15 am but no one was home. They also stated they left a notification slip in the mail box. They did, but it was blank. No id number no address or name no where to pick the package up.

I had to call sender to obtain the tracking number. When i took the blank slip to post office clerk ripped it up saying deliveryman must have left in box by mistake. Then when i gave them the tracking and id number they said it was wrong. First on the phone then at the post office who was have had to deliver the package. Some thing is very fishy here. This happened before with a irs check from the goverment. When i contacted the IRS they stated it went back because address was wrong, which it was not. The service here is very poor. Warning dont send anything valuable through this post office or it will be gone. Several years a friend sent me a book with some money in it (which he shouldnt have done) it never made it to me from the destination to me. What do you think??? I know what i think and its not very nice.

Try this website with your tracking number. I use this site, because for some reason, it has more updates then USPS, FEDX, UPS. Maybe you can see some other information.

Blueirish, don't you really mean "The United States Postal Service, Mesquite, TX (Balch Springs) Post Office"?

I've got some news for you, dude, your local post office isn't the only one that's incompetent... THE ENTIRE USPS, FROM COAST TO COAST, IS INCOMPETENT!!!
