Amana Complaint - Poor Product and Customer Service!
Bought a new Amana dryer less than one year ago. Since then we have had 7...yes, I said 7...service calls. They have fixed something different everytime they have come out to my house and have yet to fix the problem. My dryer does not heat well and takes 4+ hours to dry a load (medium sized) of clothes. They refuse to replace the item and continuously send out service men...the last one wanted to charge me $110 to tell me that I should check the dryer vent (we have already done that). Horrible appliance and even worse customer service. They were sent a letter as well as the Better Business Bureau. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER MAYTAG/AMANA APPLIANCE...EVER!
