America Online Complaint - Cutomer service and Software problems
For the past 6 months, I have had nothing but problems with the AOL software. Constant browser and toolbar issues. I have spoken to many techs online who seem to be reading from a textbook. The have not solved any problems. When I tried to get live support, the first time, I spoke to someone who barely understood English, and I could barely understand his accent. Why outsource? The company is called AMERICA online, shouldn't they hire people in the US, who won't just read a manual, but who will actually understand what you are saying. The next time I called for live support, the guy on the other line couldn't even hear me; once again, a result of outsourcing. Sure, I can just cancel and use something else, but would that make a difference? No, it won't make a difference unless they lose millions of customers and money. So no, I don't want to simply cancel yet, I want them to start acting like a profesional company and meet the need of the consumer for once.
