Saturn ION Complaint - Power Steering continually goes out.

Review by IONized! on 2007-01-26
NEW YORK, NEW YORK -- Since purchasing my Saturn ION in July 2006 from Saturn of Harlem, I had to have it towed or limped it to the dealership myself due to power steering failure. The dealership says either that there's no problem or that they've fixed it. Meanwhile, I have kept the car in the driveway for two months since I am terrified of driving it again. The last time the steering went out, we nearly got killed. I do not trust this car at all. I contacted the Nat'l Highway Safety Administration, which informed me that they have 17 similar complaints. Saturn says no one else has complained, but that, according to the govt. watchdog group, is untrue. What can a consumer do with a lemon car that the dealership claims is OK?
