Salton Inc Informative - Toastmaster waffle baker

MADISON, WISCONSIN -- I have a new waffle baker and this is the problem I have: it does not toast the outter edgee of the waffle. The waffle is cooked but the edges do not brown. Is there a solution to this or is this one of the things with which one learns to live ?

Carolemont I think it's one of thoughts things you learns to live or take it back if you can and get a different one. Good luck

It's likely because it was inexpensive and the heating element doesn't cover the entire grid. Try letting it warm up a bit longer with the device closed.

Make sure you aren't putting too much batter in at one time too. Good luck!

If you use water in your waffle mix, subsitute seltzer water instead.

The bubbles of the seltzer water will help expand the batter and provide contact with the waffle plates.
