Magellan GPS Thales Navigation,Inc. Informative - Product support - Magellan Meridian GPS product support

CANOGA PARK, CALIFORNIA -- I have tried to email Magellan at the address they provide for product support as I am hearing disabled and can not understand the heavy accents of their out sourced service techs.

Magellan has not responded after three days. This has been more than enough time to answer a few simple questions. If you care about the hearing impaired do not buy Thales Navigation, Inc. products.

I just bought a magellen and attempted to take advantage of the 30 day free map upgrade. They have no technology in place to link with their dealers to determine if you have only been there 30 days, so they make you fax your receipt to them to prove it. NEVER have I had to do that. Most companies track my serial number and dealer invoice or even the day you register the product. I asked to speak to a supervisor and he said the same thing. I asked to speak to his supervisor and he said he didn't have one. So, if you ever get Brian a heavy accent of some type - I guess he's the CEO!!!

DO NOT BUY MAGELLEN - GOOD PRODCUT BUT THEY HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO TREAT A CUSTOMER.
