Steam Vac Duel V - Complaint
DON'T BUY HOOVER!! I purchased a Hoover Steam Vac Duel V from Sears at approx. $400.00. The fresh water tank kept leaking and Sears told me that this was an on-going problem with these steam cleaners. They(Sears)expected it to be on recall at anytime. My warranty is up - the steam vac never went on recall and it is now nickle and diming me to death to kept replacing the water tank after every 4 or 5 uses. Hoover stated that I must be put boiling water in the tank - which of course is assinine.

Thanks for the info. I need to buy a new steam vac soon. I will keep this in mind when I go shopping.

I have this vac and I have never had a problem with it! Maybe just a fluke?
