SunRocket Complaint - Number transfer

I signed up for Sunrocket service in January 2006, and today it is February 2007. I only hooked up my Gismo last month. I have been waiting for Sunrocket to transfer my number for a year. I know, I know, I am an idiot. In my defence I have retained the emails sent to them asking for help. All throughout the year the email exchange goes like this, I email Sunrocket member services, they email back saying provisioning has the order and will get back to me. I wait the 1-2 weeks, and then they email me that there is something wrong with the transfer. I faxed them 11 times the information they requested. I have spoken with customer service many more times. They even canceled my transfer request, and I had to start it over again.
Anyway, as of today Sunrocket has told me that they do not give credits of any kind and that I am out of luck. A supervisor, who refused to give me her name, hung up on me in the middle of a sentence. I really think people should pause before signing up with them if you need to retain your number.
So, overall I am out $208.00. Alas, you live and learn.

Update, I just cancelled my service. One day after the supervisor hung up on me and denied any refund. When I called to cancel the customer service person offered me a month to not cancel.

I had similar phone number transfer experience happened to me. SunRockets has a whole bunch of unresponsible customer reps that just cheat you to stay longer and longer with them, and try to get as much as money out of you. Fortunately, I found it quicker than welldog, and pressed them to verify that my number is transferrable or not. Finally, they said the number cannot be transferred due to rate center issue. I am cancelling the service too, and still fighting to get money back for the equipment. SunRocket rep told me that they won't refund the equipment, and told me I can sell the equipment to anyone except them! What a ridiculous company!
