Packing Light - Holloway Travel Outfitters Complaint - Disappointed in customer service

BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS -- I purchased a travel hair dryer and curling iron / straightener from this company. I attempted to use when traveling in Egypt and neither worked properly. I returned these to the company, and after testing the products they determined that they worked, and I would receive no credit. I called the company and reminded them of their 100% customer satisfaction guarantee on their web site, but they refused to give me credit. I agreed that yes, the products did work in the US but not when I needed them, and the asst. manager's response was that perhaps there was a power surge in Egypt where I was staying (at all the hotels??). I will not use this company again.

At first, I was thinking you must have needed an electric converter, but I checked the products on the website and it says the converters are included on the product. So I must ask: did you flip the switch on the built-in converter? I assume yes; so maybe the hotel had faulty wiring? But anyway, the return guarantee states that it applies for a 30 day window only.
