MetroPCS Complaint - Bottom Feeders
There are many businesses I’ve dealt with (like payday loan companies) that make you want to take a bath after even talking with them. MetroPCS definitely makes that list. They are a “bottom feeding” company that seeks out those with insufficient credit to get adequate cellular service. But like the payday loan companies – you’re better off if you just STAY AWAY!
My son had an account with these people and I had temporary use of his phone while he was out of town. I called their customer service to find out how much to pay for one month’s service and I paid that amount on the internet.
Image my surprise when I found out that the phone had been disconnected for the last 4 days. When I called customer service they agreed that I was given the wrong amount and that I paid the amount I was told to pay. But in so agreeing, they take no responsibility to reimburse me for the time I lost due to their error. Don’t Care is more than a motto to these people – it’s what they live for.
Update - I told these people to cancel the account and they informed me that I'm not eligible for a refund because I didn't notify them 3 days before I was aware I had no service. THANKS AGAIN!
