Lauren's Salon Complaint - Lack of Customer Service

Review by the_earls on 2007-02-21
EAST END, ARKANSAS -- I walked into the salon with my son to get his haircut. One employee was cutting hair and another was sitting at a desk. Neither employee acknowledge our existence. I waited 15 minutes, without so much as eye-contact much less a greeting. I left and will never be back. I will also make sure everyone I know will not go there.

That's one thing I hate, walking into a business where you HAVE to be acknowledged in order to conduct a transaction with the establishment and they flat out ignore you. Good post.

I've had this happen at Blockbuster... It is like pulling teeth to get one of the kids behind the counter to look up and actually talk to you... I once stood there for 5 minutes while they whispered about the previous customer who had just left... I was politely waiting but I had to finally just asked my question about a movie's availability out loud... then they both gave me a dirty look and said "No" without even checking and went back to talking... The future of America is looking brighter each day!

You're a patient person. Five minutes and I'd have been out the door--unless they give very good haircuts at very cheap prices.
