DHL Complaint - No delivery no service
NEW YORK -- I ordered something on line and DHL was the shipper. When I checked the online tracking, it stated that a delivery had already been attempted. I had received no paper notice left at my door. The next day I checked the tracking again. It said that a second delivery had been made again with no paper notice left at my residence. I called the number they provided to inquire about my package and why no notice was left. The person I spoke to, Abraham, stated that a third delivery attempt would be made and I should leave directions to leave it with a neighbor. I did this and returned home that day to find no package. I checked the tracking online once again and it showed that the package had been returned to sender. I called Abraham again and he stated that he could not help me because he was not at the station where the package was being held. I asked him why he had not told me the previous night that he was not at the same station and he said that perhaps the call volume was high and he was busy. He gave me the phone number of the correct station refusing to handle it himself. I called that station and they told me that there was nothing they could do to retrieve the package. I asked to speak to the manager and he attempted to help me, but stated that there was not much he could do.
