Royal Gelatin Complaint - Gelatin almost empty

Review by poker on 2007-02-25
TEXAS -- Upon recently purchase of some Royal Gelatin was very dissapointed as the contents contained about an eighth if that much of gelatin, not even enough to make up, I was veery disappointed and thought the Co; should know about it.

Why don't you write the company or call them. They may not see this complaint. I am pretty sure they would be interested in knowing their products are not being filled properly.

How often has this happened? I've been using Royal brand gelatin for years (primarily because of price) and I've never had such an occurence. On the shortest side of the box there are some indented figures/letters which may identify where this particular box was packaged. Perhaps supplying this information to The Jel Sert Co. may help in checking their packaging equipment. If this is a one-time only shortage, I wouldn't be too concerned about it. Mistakes happen, even with automated equipment. You can contact the company at

Was it Sugar Free? I've noticed Jello uses the same size boxes for regular and sugar free flavors, but because Nutra-Sweet is so much sweeter than sugar the pouch inside the sugar free box looks like it was short-filled.
