Pepsi Cola Complaint - Empty can in 12 or 24 can package
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA -- I do not know that anyone has complained about this before but I have had the misfortune of getting an empty can in the 12 and 24 packages of my Diet Pepsi. This has happened to me at least 5 times in the past 2 years. Apparently the can has emptied and the packaging is dry by the time I make my purchase. I have found a little hole in a couple of the cans. The tabs are intact. I saved a couple of the cans thinking I will send them in but I never do. I am too embarrassed to go back to my neighborhood store. And the purchases made at other stores further from home are not worth going back for a can. Is there a way for when the package scanned at checkout and weighed at the same time? (Without the customer asking). I love my Diet Pepsi and like the Cherry Pepsi. I requested one store to get the 12 packs of Cherry and they did! My husband said I drink so much of the stuff that the truck should make deliveries to our house. So it makes you a little mad when you find an empty one more than once.
To help keep me as a potential future customer, I would like the following:
Somewhere along the line someone must notice the wet carton before it gets to the shelves. Store managers made aware of this situation.
I just thought I would tell you how the packaging can conceal a empty can.
At the very least I would like a response from your company regarding this incident. Thank you for your time.
