fat mcbrides--southwest Pkwy Complaint - Unclean/poor customer service
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS -- on March 14, 2002 my family and I went to your establishment on Southwest Pkwy. The one that is drive-thru. We spent $25.35. We've been eating there since they opened, and have always enjoyed it. But this visit was the worst restaraunt experince I've had. The first thing we noticed as we entered the restaraunt was the unbelievable dirty floor in the eating area. You coould tell where some one had tried to sweep, but there were still onions, pickles, grease, etc..... My 2 year old son did fall because of the greasy floor. Also, early that morning he had tubes put in his ear and his anodes removeds, so you can understanad my frustration.
The nest thing we noticed was that we stood in front of the counter to place our to go order and everyone behind the counter saw us, but no approached us and asked us what we wanted to order. No welcome, hello, or any other typr of greeting. My wife almost had to go behind the counter to get some service.
It was obviouse that many of those employees were new and were learning, but the one individual Jeff, did seemed experience, but even he had no since of urgency. The whole kitchen area was absolutely digusting, I'm sure that is a safety hazard, as well as dicouraging customers to eat there again. I wanted to leave, but by that point we had already ordered.
We asked for our drinks since it was goig to be several minutes before our order was going to be ready. They forgot to get our drinks, twice we asked them, no one ever brought us our drinks until the order was ready. Once we got in the car the cokes were flat, we threw them out.
So, we eventuall got home and opened our to go boxes, and guess what?. Our order was wrong, but we still ate it. However, the brisket and chopped pork were extremely dry and severly over cooked. I ate a couple of bites then trew it away.
To help keep me as a potential future customer, I would like the following:
I would like a refund,for $25.35. Also, I wanted to make you aware that My family will probably not eat there again.
Also, I work on base and our organization has had you cater several events. Not any more.
At the very least I would like a response from your company regarding this incident. Thank you for your time.
