Fones 4 All Informative - Low income households beware!
CALABASIS, CALIFORNIA -- Low income households are being subjected to unsatisfactory phone service. Having a home phone is very important for obvious reasons, communication. However, not all households can afford to establish service with some of the more popular known phone companies. So to hear that a company offers home phone service for only $5.84 a month, is a blessing right? Maybe not. Atleast not if the phone company is Fones 4 All. When you consider all of the inconveniences that come with the package, it's not worth it. Imagine paying your bill on time and coming home one day and you pick up the phone and there is no dail tone. Picture yourself being on hold for almost an hour just to speak with someone to help you resolve your problem. A problem that was caused by that same company not to mention. Consider not having any phone service for a month and no one can give you an explanation of what the problem is or how it can be fixed. These are just a few of the issues that not just myself but all Fones 4 All customers are faced with. If there is a problem with your bill, this company does not have a billing department who accepts inquiries from customers. No confirmation numbers are given to customers after establishing service or placing an order. If there is an inside wiring issue which cause interruption of service, Fones 4 All does not have a technician which represents the company. AT&T technicians are sub-contracted, they are not happy to come to your home to fix the problem, they view it as a waste of their time. I have just recently moved this month. I requested my service be transfered to my new home. I made this request 3 days before I moved, it has almost been a month and my request has not been fulfilled. The majority of customer service agents that work in the call center for Fones 4 All have the pass the buck attitude. No one wants to take responsibility for anything. On 2-14-07, I requested to discontinue my service with Fones 4 All because I was finally fed up. They are still sending me a bill at my previous home and the phone is still in serice. I would like to inform everyone about Fones 4 All because this is a phone company that in my opinion does not deserve the right to be in business. The most sickening aspect of this whole ordeal to me is, the sales representatives solicit potential customers by targeting individuals who they assume are low income families. Five days a week atleat 4 sales representatives from Fones 4 All stand in front of the Department of Social Services and the Los Angeles Housing Authority buildings in Los Angeles, on Wilshire and Coronado. They have chosen this area because it is an economically depressed community and they are fully aware that the individuals who live in this area are some what excited about the program because it is so affordable. They have no idea they are being taken advantage of. They are just commission on some ones pay check. Fones 4 All and its representatives should be ashamed of their service. I hope this review is clear enough to the reader to understand this should not be happening to anyone regardless of their financial status. Save yourself time and aviod the headache by not establishing service with Fones 4 All.
