Back Yard Burger Informative - Not bad for a burger

Review by 14600 on 2007-03-02
MIDWEST CITY, OKLAHOMA -- I recently visited Back Yard Burger (Midwest City Oklahoma). I guess this is a chain but I've never been to one before so what the heck. I'm not usually a fan of hamburgers – kind of neutral I can take them or leave them. I must say though the burgers were really good. They had a nice char-broiled taste and very juicy. I was impressed. A bit pricey when compared to fast food burgers but for the quality of the burger it was a very good value.

This particular store was co-located with a bar. I'm not sure if that's standard for the franchise or not. The night we went it was free beer for the ladies night. Cool cause my girl friend usually racks up quite a bar tab.

The staff at Back Yard Burger and the bar were tops. Very friendly and professional. Food tastes so much better when served with a side of good attitude. I was very impressed.

I'd highly recommend Back Yard Burger.

Stew, could you delete this and start over? This is not up to Stew Quality that we have all gotten used to.

Lidman, It was Stew quality to start with - top notch! BUT somebody got their feelings hurt so I edited out the 'quality' part and now you're left with this. Don't blame me... It wasn't my fault. The review stays as is.

Well then, I will give my two thumbs up to the staff at Back Yard Burger for at least trying to help you GF stop drinking. I have been to one here in NC and I like the food.

Backyard Burger is great. We have one here too, but I wish we could get a Boston Market.

Pirate, remember that you swore off "burgers AND beef".
Stewart, not bad for a guy that lives in "Texas' parking lot". You may earn my trust if you keep this up. We don't have one in Co.

Since I consider myself the burger lover supreme, I went to their website where you can pull up the menu. Very interesting and I know it's something I'd really like. They're in about 20 states. Wouldn't you know they're in IL, IN, and OH--completely cutting off MI! My luck--a day late and a dollar short, or is it vice versa?

We have two Backyard Burgers near my home. I've been to both locations, and have ALWAYS enjoyed it. They cook a hot, fresh, delicious burger every time. We did have a Fuddruckers close by, which was my FAVORITE burger place. Unfortunately, it has since gone out of business, so Backyard has become my new favorite burger place.
