Windermere West Valley Real Estate Complaint - Seller Beware - Real Estate Sale (Seller's Agent)

PHOENIX, ARIZONA -- My agent (seller's) gave inaccurate information to me via email that the buyer's loan had been approved through underwriting and was merely awaiting final paperwork for a grant the buyer had (agent told the the grant was a "given" (pre-aproved) at the time I signed the offer). We moved out of our house into temporary quarters based on this information which cost approx $2K. On the date of closing, the agent told me the loan did not come through due to the grant...however, the loan rejection stated debt to income ratio. The lending agent also stated in an email that my agent had NEVER been told the loan had come out of underwriting prior to the date of closing when the denial was given. Agent has nothing in writing to back her claim that it did. I will not judge...you can do that yourself. I have ALL emails from the agent back and forth throughout the listing period on my home. You just for yourself. The broker backs her agent and states that sometimes loans fall through. This is not my complaint...my complaint is that I was misinformed of the loan status, which cost me my moving costs...I would not have had to move as our moving date is prior to any subsequent close of a new deal on the property. I'm curious has anyone else had a similar experience?

Contact the Real Estate Commission with copies of the e-mails. Realtors have a code of ethics to which we must adhere. You have a good case if this is in writing.
