Sonic America's Drive In Complaint - Don't Get What You Order

Review by Fury on 2007-03-07
PHOENIX, ARIZONA -- My last two visits to Sonic have been just bad! After you order make sure you check the order before leaving. Both times I made the mistake of not checking and when begining to eat I found that I did not get what I ordered. It is a pain to go back after you have taken your food home. They read your order to you when you get your food but they obviously don't make sure it is correct. It was the correct wraping but not the correct food.

That once happened to me at Wendy's where I got something that was worth more than what I paid. I had already been home, and I took a bite out of the burger before I noticed it was not what I ordered. I drove up there and told the guy at the counter what happened and what I should have gotten, and he said it was ok, and that I didn't have to worry about it as it was their mistake.

Call this number 1-866-657-6642 and tell them your story. Okay, I'll be honest one complaint won't accomplish much but if this is an ongoing problem and enough people complain then action will be taken. It's important to the Sonic corp that the franchisees maintain a level of service and competence. Give em call. Good review!

"After you order make sure you check the order before leaving." Reagrdless of whether you have had problems or not, this is always a good idea.

I agree with Stew make that call and voice your concern. At the least they may give you a free meal or just make sure to check your order ;)

Fury, you think that you have it bad, we have a regular on here that opened up the sandwich wrapper and the whole dam thing fell on their lap! It was the correct wrapper but try doing a sales presentation with with a big wet spot on your trousers! You got off easy. Good luck.

I remember that zz. He was a motivational speaker that put on seminars. I guess walking into a room wearing your dinner would lift a crowds spirits with laughter.

I brought on the laughter alright, Slim. Afterwords they turned down the proposal and that slob got canned. I hear that he auditioned for "American Idol" and failed miserably. Guys singing Helen Reddy songs just don't "stack up" these days. Poor guy.

Randy certainly wasn't "feeling it", Paula needed a drink, and Simon found it "utterly atrocious" and proclaimed "it's a no".

I also heard that he cried like a baby afterwords and threatened retribution (sp?)through some "consumer gripesite". Weird!
