Dish Network Complaint - Decieve, lie and rob
MIDLAND, VIRGINIA -- We had been with Dish for 8 years and wanted to upgrade. We were going to go with Direct t.v. to receive a new customer package because dish was not going to help a long term customer.
However after some LONG TIRING discussion with people who speak and understand very little English, we worked out a package deal that we were o.k. with. We got a DVR package, and soon found out there were hidded costs no one told us about. We quickly switched out for a different package. They took the money we were supposed to be refunded from the DVR and used it for expenses we weren't supposed to get charged, and they did not inform us of this. Our last statement also had more expenses on it that were not to be charged to us.
I have gone around in circles with customer service and feel at a loss to fight any further.
You can't talk to them on the phone because very few speak plain English or understand us.
The operators will bait you with lies and when you recieve your statement the truth comes out.
We would cancel, but as others have said we will pay the price, and they are the ones who are breach of contract.
When our contract is up, hopefully there will be a better provider to hook up with, or not at all.
Dish is the one that needs to be bought out!
