MCI/Worldcom Complaint - Harrassment - long distance
ATLANTA, GEORGIA -- I switched local phone providers and told them to keep my long distance provider the same (tti national). Since tti national is a wholly owned subsidiary of mci worldcom, the local provider screwed up and put me with the mother company, mci. They jacked my rate up from 6.9cents/min to 30cents/min. After the bill arrived I straightened out the service by switching back to tti national. I negotiated with a service agent at mci to pay them for minutes used at my 6.9c/m rate. I sent the payment in full for the agreed upon amount. Since that time, I have received hundreds of calls and many bills from mci demanding the rest of their original billed amount at 30c/m. I have asked them many times to put me on the "do not call list", yet they continue to harrass me numerous times daily. This has been ongoing for several months.
