MyTaxFree.com Complaint - Worst Internet Ordering Experience Ever
Ordered a flat screen TV and never got it. Picked slow delivery. They charged my card immediately. They missed the first delivery date and the second. Did not inform me. I had to call them numerous times to get them to answer. Then recieved excuses. They did not answer my first 3 e-mails. The order status site was never updated and then just did not work. They finally responded after I sent a threating FAX and said they would be crediting my card back the refund requested "as soon as possible". This process is now 50 days old. I am filing a complaint with the Federal Trade Comission and the Deleware State's Attorney. If you have had similar experience please do the same. They both have simple forms on their Web sites-google them.Per Federal Code Of Regulations, Tile 16, part 435. the business must inform you of any shipping delay and offer you the option to accept the delay or get a refund. MyTaxFree.com never did this and stalled.
