Internetishop.com Complaint - Failure to deliver
LOS ANGELES, CA, CALIFORNIA -- Here's my problem: Payment was posted immediately after auction ended. I also provided my california reseller's permit, 3 contact numbers and a fax number and an alternate shipping address for my business, since Paypal has only verified my home address for online transactions. The business address is less than 2 weeks old and the company credit card has not arrived yet, therefore Paypal can not verify my business address as of yet. However, it will only take one phone call to verify my business address.
After 3 days and no response from you I contacted the customer service department. It took 45 minutes to find the transaction and they assured me the item will be shipped in 24 hours. The next day I get an email notification with a tracking number that belonged to an entirely different customer and item. After contacting customer service again, they found out that there has been a mistake and they CAN NOT deliver to my business address due to company policy.
This policy WAS NOT posted on the item description, neither was it discussed during the several emails I exchanged with the seller. It took few phone calls to get to the manager, Tony on the phone and after telling the story, I got the following result:
Without trying to resolve the matter, as a seller should, he rejected my order for no apparent reason. Plus he threatened to post negative feedback on eBay for non-paying bidder. Your company is holding $104.00 of my money that was paid on time, without trying to find a solution as a common courtesy. If the company does not ship to alternative addresses, that should have been posted on the policy section in the item description, just like 100ís of other vendors do, which is not the case here. Secondly, after the sales manager rejected my order, the money should have been refunded immediately. It has been 3 days and no response from the seller. This has been the worst service I've gotten online.
To help keep me as a potential future customer, I would like the following:
Here's how you can help: All I am asking is to send the item that has been paid for to my business instead of my billing address, since no one will receive the package at home. My business address can easily be verified by calling one of the 3 numbers I have provided, as I have done so as a seller for other buyers. (Common courtesy!) Plus, I'd like to have the ebay negative feedback removed! Your Sales manager suggested the cancellation, not me.
At the very least I would like a response from your company regarding this incident. Thank you for your time.
