My Twinn Complaint - My Twinn dolls

Review by kfl on 2007-03-11
My Twinn dolls are of poor quality and substandard in construction. The dolls are extremely expensive yet only come with a 60 day warranty. The company does not stand behind its product and the supervisors at the so called doll hospital are arrogant and condescending. The arms are only held together inside with glue which easily comes apart after a few months. I would not recommend spending over 100.00 for the doll.

Well why did you buy a product from a company that can't even spell twin right. If they can't spell a simple word how do you expect them to make a toy that does not break apart as soon as you touch it.

I went on the website and it is spelled Twinn, I suppose to differentiate themselves from the others. The dolls advertised started in price at $139.00. It reminded me somewhat of the Madame Alexander dolls so many invested in for their daughters and granddaughters only to discover the kids wanted to play with them...imagine that.

nohandle - I can see why they want to play with the dolls I wish I could play with one of those model cars which are only supposed to be on display but my dad won't let me because it is supposed to be more expensive in the future.

My duaghter has American Girl dolls and they are great. They stand by their product. My daughter had a dress for one or her dolls that the lace started to come off of. I called American Girl and they send me a new dress, no questions asked. They even sent a return envelope to send the defective one back.
