E-surance Complaint - E-Nightmare - Claim processing
PORTCHESTER, NEW YORK -- On Dec 16th, 2006, I was a victim of car-jacking. Fortunately, police located my vehicle 3 days later. I've taken it to dealership to find out if all was OK, and, they've discovered substantial water damage. I've filed a claim w/E-surance - 3 weeks later, they've sent an investigator, who interviewed me for 3 hours! 2 weeks later, I was told to withdraw my claim, since they didn't believe water damage occured during car-jacking. I withdrew claim and filed a new one - for water damage (same as the first one, in my opinion).
E-Surance again sent an investigator, who interviewed me for 2 hours this time.
As of today, March 13th, there is no resolution / payment of my claim. I've been without my car for 3 month!
Do not be attracted by low rates (which, by the way inevitably go up upon renewal). This company will do anything and everything not to honor your claim and repair your vehicle. BEWARE !
