Enterprise Rent-A-Car Complaint - Defective Rental Car
RICHMOND, VIRGINIA -- On 2/11/2002 I rented a defective Ford Taurus from Enterprise Rent a Car. Less than two hours later while driving down the Highway the right front tire blew out. Due to my driving skills I didn't go off the road at 65 miles per hour. Now Enterprise is billing me $576.10 for damages. Including $357.71 for damages, $195.00 for towing, and $23.39 for the loss of use of their defective Taurus. They didn't have a tire iron in the car so I couldn't change the tire. Needless to say, I'll never rent again from Enterprise. They didn't seem to be concerned about how I was, only the damages to their defective car. I have turned this matter over to my attorney.
