Osco Drug Complaint - OSCO Blames Customer for Their Incompetence

CHICAGO AREA, ILLINOIS -- OSCO PHARMACISTS blamed me rudely when I asked: "Why isn't my Medicare D coverage (read: lots cheaper) being used to pay for my drugs? I gave you my card the day I got it." Their answer? "When we had our computers updated, "THE (INFAMOUS) NEW COMPUTER SYSTEM" flipped your (bright new) Medicare card back and pulled up your old card (pre-Medicare pharmacy plan; read: worse coverage).So that's the one we're using again." And, "It was YOUR responsibility EVERY TIME you picked up a prescription to ask which card we used,to remind us that you were on Medicare. It was not ours. We are simply too busy taking care of other customers." Also, if I wanted any money back, (the differences) their computer would only let me go back 2 weeks and it was TOUGH LUCK, TOOTSIE. My OWN NEGLECT cost me hundreds of dollars. Their "Customer Service" response was to argue, blame and tell me to go and figure it out myself. OSCO couldn't have created more of a nightmare for me, a disabled retiree, if they'd written a script.
