Brother-USA Complaint - Lousy product and worse support!

I've now purchased 2 different models of "brother" all-in-one fax machines and both stopped working just after the immediate return policy was up!!! (I know, foolish to buy again even with assurances that this was a better product!) After hours on the phone to support in both cases I was told the problem was with my computer/s (all 3) so I've attempted to install and run them on friends computers as well...OH, remember I mentioned it was determined it was MY computers problem...well now I can't return them for repair either!!!

I currently have a Brother laser printer, which is wonderful, so I can't speak badly about the company, but I, too, have purchased and tried the Brother all-in-one machines in the past, and haven't had very good luck with them. Don't know what advice to give you, other than to either try another brand, or buy separate machines for each particular use.

Never buy an all-in-one, they are usually junk because they are trying to cram three to four different machines into one unit and for a cheaper price!

My sister has a Hewlet-Packard all-in-one, and hers works just fine. Never had many problems at all with it, though we had operator error with the scanner part of it when we first had it.

I have a Brother all in one printer. Fax, scan, PC scan, and copier, I have had this going on 3 years and it still runs like a champ.
