MY BROTHER HAD A DELIQUIENT ACCOUNT WITH THE HECHT'S STORE, THEY CALLED MY HOUSE SO MUCH LOOKING FOR HIM THAT I GOT TIRED OF IT AND AGREED TO ENTER A SETTLEMENT ON HIS BEHALF WITH THE COMPANY. THE SETTLEMENT WAS AGREED UPON IN JULY OF 2000. FOR A PERIOD OF TIME, I CONTINUED TO GET PHONE CALLS FROM THE COLLECTION DEPT. HAVING TO EXPLAIN 2-3 TIMES A MONTH THAT I STUCK MY NECK OUT TO PAY OFF AN ACCOUNT THAT WASN'T MINE. FINALLY IN DEC OF 2000, I GOT THE MANAGER OF THE COLLECTION DEPT TO TAKE MY PHONE NUMBER OUT OF THE ROTATION SO THAT I WOULDN'T BE CALLED. I STILL HAVE NOT RECIEVED A LETTER STATING THE SETTLEMENT WAS AGREED UPON BUT, NO TIME WAS WASTED CHARGING MY CREDIT CARD FOR THE AMOUNT AGREED UPON. I TALKED TO THE MANAGER IN COLLECTIONS ON 01/04/01 AND WHEN SOMETHING WOULD BE MAILED TO ME STATING THE AGREEMENT AND HE TOLD ME I SHOULD HAVE SOMETHING BY 01/12/01. WELL ON 01/25/01 I CALLED THIS SAME MANAGER BECAUSE I STILL HAD NOT GOTTEN ANYTHING AND DURING THE CONVERSATION, I ASKED HIM AGAIN TO FAX ME SOMETHING. THE MANAGER TOLD ME THAT HE WOULD GO DOWN STAIRS AND SEE IF IT COULD BE FAXED TO ME. HE GOT MY FAX NUMBER AND I LOOKED FOR HIS FAX ALL DAY LONG. NOTHING WAS FAXED. FIRST OF ALL IT DOESN'T TAKE 7 MONTHS TO CHARGE OFF AN ACCOUNT, SECONDLY I AM IN THE PROCESS OF DISPUTING THE CHARGED AMOUNT WITH MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY BECAUSE OF THE LENGHT OF TIME IT TOOK TO PROCESS THIS TRANSACTION. I CAN'T BELIEVE THE POOR LEVER OF CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT I HAVE GOTTEN CONSISTANTLY FROM THE SAME PEOPLE FOR 7 MONTHS. THIS IS A DIRECT REFLECTION OF THE ENTIRE COMPANY AND ONCE THIS MATTER IS SETTELED, I MYSLEF WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY.
