Verizon Complaint - Tech support & Westell versa link 327 W modem
I have had this modem for 2 years and it has been a nightmare. I have had to call at the least 10 time in the last year. They can never get it right. First of all they have all these techs who are all over the country trying to fix your problem but they can not speak good enlish.. So you spend like my last call last night 3 hours trying to fix the Westell Versalink modem to work with my new computer and lap top wirless connection. It still is not fixed and they are telling me to go where I brought it. In reality they were not ready for Microsoft and Bill Gates new Micro Soft Vista. They need to find out what the problem is and set up a site to help you fix this mess. I read on another site where people have had to get new routers to fix the problem. I had to force them to give me a repair number. The person who I was speaking with told me to hold on and hung the phone up and never came back. I got a supervisor who also was baffle. I probably need a new router which they should just tell you that instead of making you call all those times.
There is a problem with the old modem and Vista and they need to own up to it. I do not know about you but this needs to be reported to the better business they are ripping us off but they still expect you to pay the bill and penalizes you if you cut the contract.
