MAGIX Complaint - SOFTWARE ALERT
DENVER, COLORADO -- I bought this program for the creation of a wedding slideshow. I read the book, downloaded the program and put the slide show together. When i attempted to download it to a dvd my computer crashed. I was able to eventually get my computer rebooted, but only after using emergency backup discs. I contacted magix. The tech sent my several e-mails which i employed in the second atttempt to download. When i hit the enter button towards the end of the process my computer crashed again, and fried my hard drive. As a note of interest, when i called magix, i was placed on hold. Shortly, a gentleman came on the line, i told him i was using the storybook cd & dvd program and it had crashed my computer. He said he knew what i was talking about he had the same problem with the program crashing his computer and what could i do to correct the situation. It was then that we realized we were both customers waiting to talk to tech support.
