PENNSYLVANIA -- On Mar.1, I placed a catalog order on-line to JCPenney because I had a 30% cpn. that was to expire on Mar.7 and I needed a few items and decided to order. After I placed the order on-line, I called the phone number in the catalog because I was afraid I had duplicated the order, I was assured I had not and I would receive my order in 5 to 7 days. I waited 2 weeks, no order arrived, so I called customer service and was told there was no order ever placed for me. I told her I couldn't understand that, I not only placed it online, but also called cust. serv. to verify the order. I proceded to tell her that I used a 30% cpn. that was now expired and if I reorder with her will they honor the cpn. She said no. Now I have to wait and hope for another cpn. to arrive by mail as the last one did, the cpn. was saving me over $100.00. I don't understand how this happened and when I suggested to cust. serv. that the person I verified the order with must have accidently deleted it, she seemed a little angry. I will never order on line again, my printer was down and I couldn't copy the order and total etc., so I had no proof of anything. I guess I thought they would treat a customer better then they did, after all, why would I lie when I was waiting and waiting for the items.
