Veolia Transportation Complaint - Access Paratransit Poor Services

Review by jimma on 2007-03-20
ORANGE, CALIFORNIA -- As a client of OCTA--the company as I found it that supplies the drivers for the paratransit busses are supplied by Veolia Transportation.
These drivers are always late in picking me up for my appointments. I have had discussions with several drivers. I have found out that Veolia is short on drivers as well as busses. Now, what is going on here? Short drivers. I am always being picked up. The drivers, supervisors, as well as customer service reps do not seem to have any empathy for my situation. They act like they heard it before. This is in my opinion a piss-poor attitude and a piss-poor organization that needs much improvement. These buses that they drive around town have stickers of a medalion that appears that OCTA is the "Best" transportation around. I do not know how they got that award. They must have paid for it. With my experiences as well as other access riders---they do not like the servies and are considering other means for transportation.

I will restate--it is a piss-poor organization

More importantly Ken, how much does this cost the rider? I'm sure the cost to the government is substantial.
