Based on your experiences with J.C.Penny, Ultimate Shopping Network, and now Direct Shopping Network I think you need to go to a store yourself and see what you are purchasing and take it home right then.

I am very happy with their merchandise, great quality for the price, I guess if I want to continue shopping with them I'll just have to put up with the delivery time and refund time. This jewelry shopping network is the only one that gives you a complete description of the jewelry, gold wt., quality of the diamonds, VVS,VS,SI, they do not sell less then SI diamonds which is very important to me. They also tell you the color, theirs are all D & F color diamonds. Their prices arent cheap, but only about 1/3 of what you pay in a jewelry store. I enjoy the program very much and have been very happy with all the jewelry. I just wondered if anyone out there has purchased from them. I have satellite that is the only way you can receive the program. I emailed them about how unhappy I am about the length of time to get the refund but haven't heard anything yet. If you ever have a chance to watch DSN you won't believe what they have for the prices. I got a .75pt. solitaire diamond ring SI stone DF in color with .35pts. of accent diamonds VS for 1,200.00. When I took it for an appraisal my jeweler couldn't believe it, they asked me where I got it and I told them. Since I found them, I won't shop for diamonds on any other HS network, most of their diamonds are I and priced much higher. Shop NBC for example, most of their diamonds are I with a color of HI and the prices much higher. You can also watch it on line at www.dsntv.com.

Oh, I forgot to mention that the gold on the jewelry items are almost all 18K, once in awhile they have a 14K item and when they do, the price is really low, they call them affordable items for everyone.

Beautiful jewelry, UGLY customer service. Still waiting for a refund on white zircon studs purchased 11/05..yup 2005!! Okay the were $47, but still, I encountered the same poor customer service, called multiple times, checked with my post--office, they sent ME Glendale Post-office paperwork to file also, very odd...sent that back to them...still no refund. Watch now with a skeptical attitude.

sprklythings, I'm suprised they didn't refund your money for the studs, now I have to be careful of DSN too. What did customer service say when you called? At least they are American and you can understand what they are saying. When you called, did they day they received your return? I always get a signature confirmation when I send something back although I don't usually buy the insurance if the item is under $500.00. With a sig. conf. you can track the order online at usps and they will tell you if it was received.

diamondgirl, customer service at DSN could actually track the package all the way from Glendale CA to my city/state (MN) and also could see that it HAD NOT been delivered!!! So at that point I expected a refund immediately. Yet they've jacked me around all this time. I'm tired of the run around, weird customer service hours & the hassle. Yes, I agree it's refreshing to say the least, to speak to a customer service rep thats American ;)) (BTW have quit doing business with companies that are employeeing over-seas phone help) So yes, I'm still out the $47++ with no earrings to show for it. Hey have you noticed anything strange about DSN lately...looks like possible financial problems to me....lots of gemstone shows "clearing the vault" stuff at rock bottom prices, lack of higher-end jewelry pieces & even sneaking pieces in with lower quality accent diamonds. Hmmmmmmmmm maybe we're not the only skeptics!?

I am so glad it is only 47.00 you are out, I don't know why they would give up a customer for this kind of money especially if you are on the east coast like I am, I watch from 10:00pm. till I have to finally shut it off and get some sleep. When I called their customer service to see why it is taking so long for my refund I had to hold on for over a half hour, this is rediculous. I guess this is what a person has to put up with to get these fabulous prices. Maybe you're right about possible financial difficulty, they have been showing items with lower quality diamonds for accents and a lot of clearance items. I haven't been watching too much lately because they are on so darn late in my area that with the nice weather coming I don't like to stay up too late anymore so I can get up early and enjoy the beautiful mornings. Also, it takes DSN over a month to send most items out, you are paying on your credit card before you even see the item, if you have to return it, it takes them another 30 days to credit your account, that is two months. I don't like to order any more jewelry until I pay for the order I received and kept last. They are really stupid for doing it this way, I bet a lot of other people feel the same. They are the only jewelry show on tv that sizes the rings for free and I know that takes time with all the orders every night. I guess I have either got to put up with it and shut up, or quit watching and ordering, HUH?

My Turn...Ugggg, Every Item I have purchased from this shopping channel hast taken at least 30 days to arrive, Most of the items I have received have been very disappointing, the stones are nowhere as clean as the "sample" they show on the screen, I have purchased items from other jewelry channels as well and I can tell you there are two out there that do ship what you see jtv and gemstv. they ship in a matter of days and my refunds arrive within 10 days, they are great. If you call Dsn during their customer service hours you can easily wait 30 minutes or more or never get someone to help. They are quick to get your money when you order and very very slow to ship and slower to return it.

Okay the $47 refund FINALLY came in 2008 for the studs....complete joke to wait that long....I think they are having problems...lots of 'final sale' nights and down right ugly items....keep an eye on diamond quality. Long waits for shipments and terrible customer service will surely sink this network.

RedRover, I totally agree with your accessment of jtv & gemstv, I would add ShopNBC to that list too. They consistently send items of equal quality to what is shown on on-air...refunds are handled well too. Watch out for over priced purses on ShopNBC...extremely poor quality on the metal findings...I will NEVER purchase a handbag from them again..NEVER. After 20 days I had gold chipping off a $450 dollar handbag from The Find...customer service asked me ONE question....did you buy the extended warranty. OMG who thinks a fricken $450 would start to look tacky after 20 DAYS?? No comensation...nothing. They suck!!!!!!!!!!! Plus I am a big spender with them....well not anymore.

My issue with DSN.TV is pretty grim. I ordered diamond hoop earrings that were over $1300 on March 29, 2008 and have not heard anything from them. No order confirmation! Customer Service does not answer my communication--not by email or by phone. I am so afraid that I out the money. Of course, my checking account was debited immediately the day of the order. I do not know if VISA can help me or if I have any rescources. Amaze

Now it's May 15 and I still have not received my earrings from DSN.TV. I've contacted the BBB in Glenndale, but nothing has happened yet. I hope that I can get my credit card company to put some pressure on them.

I started watching DSN and ordered alot of expensive things and never gave a thought about when they'd ship or when my CC would get charged.

I agree their shipping is SLOW however they remake the rings ,not just resize them and they 'll recast them in whatever color gold you want so I think based on that 15-20 days is not much to wait.
With that said I am curently waiting for all the 5 items I ordered.
The first from 6/19 was attempted delivery today and I wa snot home.I will pick it up at the P.O. tomorrow, They ship registered mail with signature required I am told.
I did cal their CS during their weird hours 4-7 om EST and they gave me tracking numbers on the first 2 packages.
So I beleive they are on the up and up.I used a credit card for all the orders so if anything goes worng I'll file a chargeback and dispute the charge.
I am not thrilled with the fact they charge same night as order placed instead of when it ships.
I also wished they had value pays of some sort.
I am on a automatic with them if I dial they can place the order without me doing anything except saying yes.
Makes it way to easy.
I hope the items are as described and pictured.I'll get the first piece tomorrow with 4 more to follow..
I am so addicted :-)

I'm sending back the crap they sent, I ordered a red 6ct zircon i recieved a 1ct red zircon. i ordered a tanzenite i got what looks like a simulante. maybe if they see what was sent they will be embarassed by it.

Been with this co 5 years 80% of items were beautiful others sent back no problem.This past year forget it.Still owe me 1 more item ordered 7/5/11.Only one CC co couldn't dispute.Can't reach them any longer.Talked to a service rep in Aug said lost alot of help in jewelry dept.Do not order anything from DSN period.Must say I got pair of studs ordered 7/15/11 end of Jan 2012!!!The order slip said ship date was 8/10/11 don't know what happened there.
