Eddy's Toyota Informative - BEWARE !! CROOKED Dealership

Review by greeneyedgurly7 on 2007-03-24
WICHITA, KANSAS -- Do not go to this place they are awful!! I bought a used car from them, on the way home on a Sunday night the check engine light came on, and lets just say it was all down hill from there. At one point they accused me of driving the car wrong! Driving the car wrong? How does one do that??? They made a ton of promises they didn't keep and after fighting with them for 4 months, they "bought" the car back from me, but I had to pay them to do it. BEWARE do not go there, I know they are the only toyota dealership in Wichita but its worth it to go somewhere else. Because the service departmetn is crooked too!!! I will never go back there, and I am on a mission to tell everyone I know and don't know not to go there they will get ripped off and dissappointed and lied too!!

A check engine light isn't necessarily that serious, but they should have stepped up and diagnosed the cause without question. In most states, you get at least a 30-day warranty on used vehicles.

Well everyone, don't you expect when you buy a car that the dealership will want you to be happy? Yes the check engine light is a big deal!!! I will assume you all work for or are part of EDDY's or Steven motors. This place was a real Joke. Not to mention the fact that they said at one point I was DRIVING THE CAR WRONG! The car was never right to begin with. I DID NOT TRADE IN THE Car they had to BUY IT BACK but since they would not cover any tax and finance charges, I Had to PAY THEM to take it back, ie: pay off the rest of the loan. But it was the only way to be done with the worthless dealership. IT was a 4 month process through the holidays. I also stated that they did not keep promises they made. They wanted me to trade my car for cars they picked out for me, and give me less than what I paid for the car and tack the rest on to a new loan. I am not the only one to have bad bad luck with them.

I feel your pain Bro. I too recently took a huge loss with a commercial truck and it was a much larger loss(i assume) than yours and it makes you think the worst thoughts. Good luck and keep your head up and thanks for callin out these thieves.
