Rocky Point Travel Informative - Frudulent company stole $800.00 from my elderly Grandmother

Review by Normster on 2007-03-25
TUCSON, ARIZONA -- My grandmother gave them 800.00 for a week at one of the hotels that they are affiliated with. Being elderly and of that generation of trust she forgot to get any form of receipt and paid cash. Rocky Point travel stated that they would book her a week in Mexico and would call her in a few days.

They never called, and all of her Email and calls go unreturned. They state that they have no record of anyone by her name ever being there by her name. She spent 2 hours in the offices there talking with the General manager. He refuses to answer our calls or Emails....

Stay far far away from this den of thieves!

Try contacting the following http://www.supreme.state.az.us/selfserv/elderlaw.htm
Maybe they can help you. Taking advantage of the elderly is just wrong. Good luck.

Retraction of comment on Rocky Point Travel Ripoff.
I have given this much thought and have come to the coinclusion that 2 wrongs do not make a right.
The above incident had never happened.
I want to apologize to George O. at Rocky Point Travel for making this story up.
Rocky Point Travel may or may not be a good travel agency, and I would encourage anyone to give them an honest chance.I had a prior disagreement with them and realized that maybe they actually were not able to contact me to straighten things out as they indicated.
Once again having been in business for 10 years must say something positive about them.

spiderman2, look at the retraction. This story was made up. Do you have a link for people who illegally impersonate others with the intent to deceit or extort?
