McDonalds Corporation Complaint - Inconsistant charges
LAVAL QC CANADA -- I just came back from the restaurant located in Laval Quebec Canada, corner of St-Martin and Le Corbusier. My wife took the Filet-o-fish and I took the McExtra trio. The first surprise is that the Filet trio is listed at $4.11, however, when one adds the drink ($1.45) the fries ($1.55) and the Filet-o-fish sandwich ($0.98 when taken with fries and drink) the total is $3.98, not $4.11; but the cashier assured us (and assumed until we showed her otherwise) that it should work out to the same total.
Then, since I asked for cheese in my McExtra (for which the trio price matches the special $0.98 when taken with fries and drink) the cashier punched the McExtra with cheese button, with makes the price of the sandwich $1.38, despite the "add cheese for 30 cents" sign; she had to call on the manager to have
him refund the 10 cents the system overcharges.
Then, upon leaving, I checked the other menu item: regular burger is $1.09, regular cheese burger is $1.29. Can someone explain why the SAME cheese slice costs 20 cents in the regular burger, and 30 cents (and perhaps
up to 40 if they change the sign instead of reprogramming the cash machine) in a McExtra???
