Ashley Furniture Complaint - Restocking Fee
FORT WAYNE, INDIANA -- I am angered to point that i will never shop or recommend anyone to shop at Ashley Furniture Stores. Reason being if you have a policy such as a restocking fee of 30%;and you believe in good customer service, the sales rep. needs to definitely verbally go over with the customer about their policies and how it affects the customers at the time of purchasing. I was told i signed the contract with the restocking fee, unfortunately when signing i thought it was for picking up the item. I feel you should have the opportunity to return something especially 1. it hasn't been 30 days, 2. i haven't even received the item, yet. Sometimes you should care about people more than policy. 30% is alot of money, i even asked could the fee be converted to store credit so that Ashley would not lose out on any money and of course that was a no. This tells me that Ashley stores are not interested in satisfying customers, but just making money.
