Frigidaire Complaint - Bad customer service
GRAND RAPIDS, MICHIGAN -- I bought a gas stove in 2001. In September, 2006 I paid over $200 to have a new computer control panel put in because the oven was malfunctioning by an authorized Frigidaire repairman.
It began acting up again in less than 6 months, I had the repairman back out only to learn that Frigidaire only backs their parts for 90 days, and it would cost me another $200 to replace the same part!
I am very upset that they will not stand behind their product. I understand they used to back up parts for a year, that makes more sense to me, but still to have the same part go bad twice in such a short time, sounds like a bigger problem than just a computer board.
I'm not getting the part, I'm saving my money to buy another brand.
This is bad business - do not buy their product.
