Gresham Topyota Informative - Lack of Customer Care

GRESHAM, OREGON -- Customer Service - a big push for Toyota to promote sales and customers who return year after year. Well, I guess Gresham Toyota missed that push. I did a little search to see just what "Customer Service" means. LOTS of meanings, but in a nutshell:
"Customer Service is any contact between a customer and a company, that causes a negative or positive perception by a customer"
and
"Customer service is a process for providing competitive advantage and adding benefits in order to maximize the total value to the customer" (www.customerservicemanager.com)

"Customers tend to be more forgiving of organizations who acknowledge and apologize for their mistakes rather than denying them. Taking responsibility for mistakes and correcting them is considered an important aspect of good customer service." (wikipedia.org)

There are many Toyota dealerships in the Portland metro area. If you value GOOD customer service, being treated respectfully and ethically then I do NOT recommend Gresham Toyota. Their staff, especially management, need to take a course, read a book or simply surf the net to learn about good customer service. They have the NEGATIVE aspect of it down pat!

Toyota is an awesome automobile - just do NOT buy one at Gresham Toyota. The dealership and its management have put a black spot on Toyota's good name.
