Nissan Complaint - Rear Drive Train
GASTONIA, NORTH CAROLINA -- I have owned several Ford and GM pick up models and have logged over 150,000 miles on each of them, and have never experienced a catastrophic failure with any of them.
Currently I own a 2005 Nisan Titan Crew Cab. It has 90,000 miles on it and the rear drive train gears have sheared teeth. Nissan does not offer any replacement parts. You must purchase the complete rear axel at great expense ( 3,100.00 plus labor) This vehicle is a 4X4 off road equiped with tow package. This vehicle has never been off road or used to tow any trailer of any kind.
Currently Nissan has reviewed this issue and declined to assist in any way. I will never purchase another vehicle from Nissan and I would not recommend anyone to purchase a vehicle from Nissan Motor Company. I also would like to know if anyone has had a similar experience.
