United Airlines Informative - Lost Luggage & Harassment in Domestic Flight
COLUMBUS, OHIO -- This is regarding the missing luggage of Srila Maiti. I was having flight from Kolkata to Mumbai, Mumbai to Chicago via London and from Chicago to Columbus.

I have got both of my luggages at Chicago on 4th February, 2007 and when I reached to Columbus on 5th February, 2007, I got only one. It came in the same flight (UA1186) on 5th February, 2007.
I have lodged complain at UA at Columbus on 5th February, 2007.
The luggage tag No. is AI487954. The tracking no they have provided is LDZTBT.
I have called UA many times without any update. The customer service representatives are not helpful at all. The suitcase is containing all my medicines along with prescriptions, warm clothes, and important documents. Without my medicine I am having health complications also. I don’t know whom to turn to in this peril.
I have neither received my bag nor the compensation after my travel of 2 months. I wonder how efficient people are there in UA who can not settle a matter in two months.
When we are coming to US we hear that here in US everything is well organized. There is no chance of losing luggage in domestic flight.
It can be lost in the international travel. But from my case I learnt in hard way that it is only a concocted story. There is nothing like that.
I am just wondering that if I have given both of my baggage in wrong place for next flight check-in in Chicago airport, I have got none at Columbus. Both of them were having tag on them when I received them at Chicago and they were tagged for CMH (Columbus). How come only one arrives here and another is still missing?
Please do the needful as early possible.
