Uno Chicago Grill Bay City, MI Complaint - Terrrible service and food

Review by dranneh on 2007-04-04
BAY CITY, MICHIGAN -- Myself and 2 friends went to the Uno Chicago Bar & Grill for lunch. We were seated in a corner booth which had a COLD breeze blowing on us. We had to keep our coats on the whole time we were there. Only about 5 tables full at the time. We complained and the waitstaff said she would have them turn on the heat or turn off the cold air. Temp outside was about 46 degrees F. Two of us ordered steaks medium well (a little pink inside). Both steaks were mostly black on the outside and dried out on the inside. Just very slight pink in the center portion of steak. I asked for butter for my potato. The waitstaff acknowledged this request and said okay. She didn't come back until we were done eating and she said: "we don't have any butter here". I couldn't believe it. Not to mention the price for a burnt steak and dry potatoes was over $11.00. It was AWFUL, the price, customer service and quality of food.

11 dollars is probably a normal price for steak. If you can't afford to that price than buying frozen steak and preparing it yourself cost less. Also you get the room temperature that you want and you can cook it they way you like it.

Just Googled up the place. Looks like a "jazzed up" pizza joint. I never order steaks at trendy looking places like this. Sorry, dran.

Anyone who orders a medium well steak--deserves what they get.

Why didn't you go to Kryszcziak's where for $11 you could get all the Kielbasa, Kapusta, Grzybi, and Pierogi you can eat?
