7-Eleven, Inc. Informative - A 7-Eleven so Rude and Disrespectful to Kind Patron - This store has rude and disrespectful service

This store has rude and disrespectful service
Review by vickinyogi on 2007-04-05
PACOIMA, CALIFORNIA -- The 7-Eleven at 10711 Glenoaks Boulevard, Pacoima, California, 91331, would not accept my scratched quarter by proxy via an employee who acted so rude and unprofessional it is amazing he is employed by 7-Eleven. How do you treat patrons of a business with unprovoked hatred and disrespect? All other vendors and food machines and newspaper machines accept that same quarter.

I walked out the door when I was told my quarter would not be accepted and I left more money than the price of the candy bar and the candy bar all on the counter and nobody in the store including the rude disrespectful and unprofessional man said anything. I will never go to that particular store again therefore I will not be subjected to some sick employee's unprofessional rude hostile service.

This is a good review that helps me decide if I will go to another store in that same area.

I voted this review NOT HELPFUL! It is a good intro for a joke....."A guy named yogi with a pocket full of scratched quarters goes into this convenience store and......."

By proxy?
Eeps.
How's that pretension workin' for ya?

Why is this story all over M3C???

And Z, when I first read saw it in the community forum, I thought it was the intro to a joke.

Yogi make no sense.

This is helpful advice. The story is truthful and maybe if you are a critic you will have to deal with being imposed upon in a rude disrespectful way. This individual handled it in a way that is legal.

So, if it's "legal"...then why are you complaining...I'd think you would write a compliment on the guy...besides, I doubt that he refused scratched quarters from all the customers....maybe he just doesn't like the way Yogi looks.

This is one of the worst reviews I've seen on here.

Hi Vickinyogi

Interesting choice for a screen name

Is your personal appearance just as interesting?

Your appearance is a persons first perception of you. It can even set the tone of a conversation before it starts. I am not saying this is right by any means. But it is something you control, at least to a point.

If you look freaky deaky or like a bum or a thugged out crackhead, you will be unwelcomed in allot of places by allot of people.

I'm not sure if 7-11 cashiers receive specialized diversity training.

I bet they are trained about shoplifters and thugs. I bet they see it all in those stores.
