Tycorp Pizza of VA Complaint - Denied service by defamation of character, discriminatory and false accusations
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VIRGINIA -- I placed delivery order to a Pizza Hut in Charlottesville, Virginia on this evening. When the order arrived
my 13 year old daughter and I approached the door to get the order. The order was paid for then given to
us The delivery man then states, “Oh, by the way my manager told me to tell you we can no longer
deliver to this address any more.” I stated, “why not?” Delivery man then says, “ Several sexual
language advancements have been made from here to several of our female drivers.” Then I stated, “No
way!”...Finally the driver tells me that I can call the manager
This happened on December 9th, 2001 approximately between the hours of 9:30pm and 10:30pm.
(Today is April12,2002) have received one(1) phone call out of eight(8) from my calling 434-589-4082
Area Manager/1-800-948-8488 Customer relations and another number that I can not find at this time.
Two phone numbers were given for contacting me.
On December 31st, 2001 (New Years Eve) approximately 8:30pm I receive a phone call from Area
Manager Gary Flynn. I thanked him for calling and asked him to brief me on what he was calling for then
I would tell him what really happened. Mr.Flynn did so, so did I. Mr. Flynn’s final reply was apologetic for
what sounds like to be an inadvertence on the part of the driver who reported for the claim (Because of
her size). Mr. Flynn’s resolution was that it was a misunderstanding and he wanted to keep his
customers and that the three of us were going to meet somewhere and discuss this issue to mute. I
spoke with Mr. Flynn yesterday by phone and he was once again apologetic for his delegating authority
to another source. Is this taking to long or should I go to another source “a step further”
By the way I have tried to order a pizza from the Pizza Hut on East High Street in Charlottesville, VA and
was denied service for such above reasons. Take my phone order for delivery, arrive with delivery, take
my money, my family receives the order delivered, then tells me what should have been said at time of
order placed. Is this right? Should I be entitled my twenty four dollars ($24) back and an apology to me at
my front door where all of this happened.
