NCO Financial Services Inc Complaint - Receipt of payment / account settlement
RICHARDSON, TEXAS -- The patient account for my father ( a tourist here who unfortunately had to be hospitalized) was forwarded to NCO for collection. They said they could give me a 25% credit if i paid immediately.. and i did.. on Frb 20th.. and today is april 9th and i have been calling them almost everyday to get a receipt.. a latter of payment.. an account settlement letter.. or something.. which i can forward to the medical insurance company for reimbursement. Everyday.. i am either put on hold.. or transferred here and there.. or spoken to very rudely... The excuses i get are that "I am not authorized to mail you anything" "That's a different department and i am putting in a request" "We don't send any letters" "Use your credit card statements as receipts" etc etc etc. i am so sick and tired of it all. After making a payment, am i wrong to expect a receipt from them?
Oh and that's not all.. even after having settled the account a couple of months ago, the hospital still does not show it as settled. And i am trying to get that cleared.. and that's not happening either.
Is there something i can do? please help...
