Olive Garden Complaint - Beef medallions alfredo w/portobello
COLUMBUS, GEORGIA -- I went to the Olive Garden restaurant in Columbus, Ga., for a late lunch, was told there would be a 20 minute wait, and came back a half hr. later when the wait was only 5 minutes. I was led through three rooms, to the far corner near the exit door in the last room, which was mostly empty and the tables looked unused for some time. Why the wait with all this space?
I came to try the beef medallions alfredo with portobello mushrooms. I skipped wine after the seating fiasco, and my meal came quick. It was warm, but not piping hot, there were two pieces of beef which could loosely be termed medallians though they were more square. And there were two pieces which can only be described as resembling scraps from trimmed meat. They all were very tough, and the claim they were marinaded was without basis in fact, according to my taste buds. Alfredo barely noticed the pasta as he walked by, which was only slightly warm and undercooked. I felt insulted and cheated.
I won't be going back to Olive Garden, at least the one in Columbus, Ga.
