BRADENTON, FLORIDA -- I had my A/C unit malfunction, I called the National Home Protection(NHP) claims line, the operator said the claims dept. was closed and she could not find my account info. in the computer. The A/C was totally inoperable so I authorized the repair and submitted the claim on the Monday after I called. I received a phone call from NHP and they stated that since they did not authorize a repair they would not cover it. I am currently attempting to receive reimbursement and will post the resolution when I have one.
